Sister’s Uptown is a family owned and operated bookstore and community center located in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. They are currently the only Black Owned Bookstore in the borough of Manhattan. The bookstore offers a wide selection of books but has a focus on on the works of African-American authors.
